Retired in Ak after 32-yrs as CE and moved back to home ground in Mid-Ga. Families been here forever,...almost ha!
Learnt stick welding from old timer Alaskan, Dave Kincaid,..mostly 7018 stick..with my trusty AC/DC Lincoln tombstone. Bght a Lincoln 115a mig but didnt spend enough time with it. Had Thermal arc plama cutter and make animal silhouettes out of 1/8" thick steel for presents. Have done quite a few real workable projects with the 7018 and all worked...even the popcorn looking weld ha!
Have enjoyed Jody's videos and he's gotten me interested in TIG. Had to sell all my gear before I left AK but recently bought the Lincoln MP 210 for various projects. Will post a question or two in the MIG section....Thanks RR
