I just ordered the tig finger package and decided to register for this forum while I was at it.
I have been a professional auto technician for 30+ years. I have also been involved with drag racing for over 20 yrs. I have become competent with fabrication skills through necessity (and enjoy it). I went to welding school when I was around 20 (I'm 51 now), and learned oxy, stick, and mig proceseses and have used them throughout the years. I always wanted to learn tig, but never got the chance. Recently, I purchased an Everlast 200 DV and have been enjoying playing around with it.I have viewed some of the "Welding tips and tricks" videos online and have picked up some good tips. I plan to fabricate and tig weld my next tube car project. Thanks for the forum.
