Hello All:
I have limited welding skills using mostly mig on steel with 4X4 rockcrawling vehicle and now interested in backyard boats. Where we are the river tends to not be very nice to fiberglas and I just haven't been able to find just the right boat. I am very interested in learning all I can about aluminum welding, tig and mig and entry level machines. I'd like to find a versatile machine that could do both, but if need be a machine that will provide me well with welding boat grade aluminum sheet in 5052 and 5086 as well as structural stringers and chines. That's me for now.
Soon to be boat builder... hopefully,
