Got my start in body shops doing collision repair and moved on to restoration work where I was taught the basics. Tig welding aluminum and mig welding floor pans and rust patches is the extent of my experience. Currently working in the aerospace industry as a fabricator/painter but would love to get into the welding shop. Never had any certifications but am very interested in the how to' s and where I need to start. Does anybody have any info on courses they have taken or what's the best way to become a certified welder in the state of Fl?

No info on your college but welcome to he forum. Ask around at your workplace or simply put welding school or technical school near me into the all knowing Google and you'll find something.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.
