Hi, I am a MIG, TIG welder with experience in stick. I worked a few years building fashion show for NYC fashion. I work with carbon steel and aluminum; and learning stainless and bronze. Welding is were my heart is and I want to progress further. I figure a certification and/ or apprenticeship would be the best route. If I had a choice I would just TIG the rest of my life, however I feel that it would be more practical to start with a MIG certification. Any thoughts?

Love the videos from WeldingTipsAndTricks!
Keep it up!

Hello and Wecome. If you love Tig then go for a Tig cert. If you want to work production I.E. factory welding get the mig. But for me aprenticeship was the way I chose. I haven't regretted it yet. I've got Tig and Stick certs that keep my very busy.
I have more questions than answers

Hey Masxsimo
Are you currently employed in the welding/fabrication field? Are there specific employers you are targeting that could influence which process you should be certified in?
Give us a little more info and we'll be able to respond to get you where you want to be.
