Hi All,
I like to sculpt steel as a hobby. I've made some large art that's now on 'display' in my yard. I''m learning to MIG weld but keep coming back to oxi-acytyline as my preferred tool. I also use a plasma cutter. Went to a forging event thru CBA this weekend, which was great. I like the idea of forging more, but not sure I want to add the equipment to my workshop due to the heat it produces (I'd use propane) and the need to vent, etc. May just keep using the rosebud tip on my oxi-ac rig to heat the steel.
Next projects (before making more art):
1. Make a rolling stand for my anvil (along the lines of this http://www.millerwelds.com.php53-1.dfw1 ... 2778636595)
2. Make a jig for my oxi-ac rosebud so I can work hands free.
