Hey guys and girls.Just a quick intro.
I was a metal fabber/structural mig welder about 20 years ago(trucking payed better).
I've kept my hand at mig welding at home as a hobby.
My situation now is I just got married so quit trucking to enjoy some time at home with wifey.
I just decided to buy a fronius 2200 magicwave tig welder and learn tig welding.
Hence why I'm here,haha.
I'm yet to touch the fronius as I'm honeymooning in New Zealand, with 10 days to go.
I know I've jumped in the deep end with a complicated machine, but I like a challenge.
Looking forward to lots of advice and challenges.
Cheers,
Timmy

Hi from another Aussie. There are a few here. You really got yourself a capable machine to practice on. Some say the best in the world. Have fun playing..... ;) and then playing with your welder.

Did I catch that right?

You're in NZ, with ten days left on your honeymoon, and you're posting here?

Oh, the welding bug has bit you bad...
