Hi, my name is Clive originally from Rhodesia, I now live in Western Australia and am new to Tig welding, over the years as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic in the Mining industry I have done some rough stick and Mig welding when there was no qualified welder available. I am sure I will learn a lot from this Forum and Jody,s excellent videos, hopefully it is not to late in life to teach an old dog new tricks!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a fun time working on big equipment in the middle of nowhere. Not always the most glamorous workplace.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.
