I'm just rekindling my love of making things. I have been building things and using tools for 40 years. I was previously a certified auto technician then went back to college and got a chemistry degree.

I did some cutting and welding with oxy-acetylene for automotive applications about 20 years ago, but nothing since.

I have been watching the videos and checking out the podcast some. It seems like a great community of helpful people.

I have the cheapest Harbor Freight flux core 110v machine, gloves, and and auto-darkening helmet. I have been adding little bits of things to my repertoire to complement my project creations in other media.
