Welcome!
I'm sorry to tell you that Snap-On quality does not translate to welding machines. They buy the cheapest crap they can find and re-brand it.
Sell it to someone who believes in the name while you can. A useful machine can be had for the price you might get.

Welcome to the forum. Your job sounds like my goals. Welding farm equipment in North Dakota or Iowa. Hope you enjoy it somewhat.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

This could be a manual for it. http://www.800abcweld.com/pdf/mm250sl_owners_manual.pdf
Looks like a decent size machine - 60% duty cycle at 230 amps is pretty substantial.

The Snap-on machines were made by Century
I read one thread where a very experienced pro tried to help a buddy out who bought one and couldn't get it to weld right. He said that after trying to.help, it was the worst welder he had ever used. So if you are having issues with it, it may be the machine and not you
