I thought I would finally introduce myself.
I've been lurking for to long. This forum is very knowledgable and full of useful information. I hope I will be able to contribute some quality information as well.
I have been welding mostly as a hobby for about 5-6 years. I initially got into it because I was tired of paying for repairs or new replacement parts on my work machines. I have made some pretty cool things over the last few years. I for the most part have only done mig welding using my Hobart 190. I have been addicted ever since I started. I have decided to get into tig welding which is what lead me to the forum through jodys videos. I have only tig welded for a day. My neighbor brought me home a thermal arc tig from his work so I could tig some jeep sliders. I would like to get a tig and will need some help soon choosing because going back and forth on brands and power ratings is proving harder than expected.
