Hello all. I just signed up for the forum, but have been lurking for a while. I learned to weld a long time ago from my Uncle (Sam) and did a lot of welding on submarine repairs. Mostly carbon, stainless, inconel, monel and copper-nickel piping, but some hull repairs and aluminum. Actually I have not a lot of time for my hobbies, but I still love welding as a relaxing hobby. I still enjoy welding on weekends when I can though.

Thank you all for this great community!

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your service!
I'm sure you have some stories (welding related) to tell of the sub repairs, seems you got some good experience on many alloys.
