Hi,

I'm Ted, new to welding, and just got a 125 flux core welder. I've been practicing, watching how to videos and reading.

Hope to utilize this forum to get better!

Hi, Ted,

There's a lot of information and help available here. That machine may be "entry level", but so are many of our members, and our goal is to help everyone improve. When you master that, you'll wonder why you didn't buy more machine the first time...

(Many of us have been in that exact position...)

Welcome Ted,

Good to see you reading up on your chosen process. I highlight the importance of safe ventilation while fluxcore welding (especially gasless) the fumes are toxic and absolutely no mileage in risking health. You probably know all this from your intro course already.

Cheers,
Vic.
