Greetings -

Long time student of welding, beginning with stick in high school, learning more & improving years later with more stick and gas (aircraft tube) welding. Two years ago took a cert course with stick, mig & flux core. Now interested in
learning TIG err.. GTAW for mild steel, stainless & aluminum. Only on job experience has been incidental to work - industrial & auto mechanic. May change that status soon... Hope to learn more here, and have so far.

Welcome, Mikeover,

This is the best place you could be to advance your experience. Serious people with serious skills, who don't take themselves seriously.

Seriously... we have everyone here from rawest beginner to Shaolin Master, and everyone in between, and it works.

I like that Steve. "Serious people with serious skills, who don't take themselves seriously." I'll have to use that!
