Hello! My name is Roope and I live in northern finland. I am 21 years old and graduated from vocational school in 2013 as a fine mechanic. During my school years and after, I have been working as a MIG welder until I went to the army for a year.
This fall, I started a 4 month welding course where I learned to tig weld and did my certification for stainless steel and regular steel with MIG.
Below are the designations of the tests for those who are interested
SFS-EN ISO 9606-1 141 T BW/FW FM5 S t1,50 D60,00 H-L045 ss nb ml
SFS-EN ISO 9606-1 135 T FW FM1 S t5 D60,00 PH ss nb sl
I am starting my 1 month intenship next monday and hope to get a job so I can start saving money for my first own welding machine !
All in all, very excited that I found the youtube channel and this forum, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of solid information floating in the internet about welding.
Welcome to the community! Tell us about yourself, your welding interests, skills, specialties, equipment, etc.

Welcome, Roope!
I love the picture you chose for your avatar!
There is a ton of information on the internet about welding, but, as your comment reflects, not all of it is "solid". Here, you'll find people with actual experience in almost any situation you might ask about, and several people who will research an answer if we don't have one (because we want to know the answer, too). We're all here to learn from each other (and have a little harmless fun on the journey).
You also will rarely deal with someone putting down anything you've attempted, because we, as a community, will not stand for that behavior. The best among us were new, young, and inexperienced at some point, and we've not forgotten what it's like to find a mentor willing to help, nor what it feels like to be put down by some arrogant jackass. (I say "rarely" because now and then someone slips through who will do that, but they either stop or leave.)
