I am going to gain lots of good information and advise from this forum site! . I have a Miller TIG that is not hooked up yet ... ( it is HUGE, must weigh 500 pounds) also a Forney stick 230 amp I been using for 35 - 40 years , and a oxy acc ... I just bought a LOTOS 2000D 3 in 1 unit . should receive it next week. I also have some HVAC equipment .. gauges , reclaim equipment , etc (and a refrigerant license too )
for another interest I have a 48 inch metal turning lathe , a Bridgeport vertical mill etc. ....
I worked for 30 years at Honeywell , where I got very good at TIG welding Pt. wonderful stuff!! .....
you probably notice that I must be a bit older than most other members .... I will be 82 this month . wife an I been together 62 years now , with over 40 direct decendants (so far) ..... latest great grand son is a month old ..... (some greats are teenagers already) I plan to attempt some design / fab projects this winter ....

Welcome, Don,
You may indeed be our most senior member, but we have many retirees, and I've never asked their ages.
We also have several metal turners and other assorted hobby and pro machinists here.
I think you'll enjoy our happy quiet li'l corner of the internet, and we're glad to have your experience to add to our own!
