Hello

I would like to introduce myself, been in the industry for 43yr, primarily as an underwater welder both wet and dry chamber/hyperbaric with a lot of surface pipeline and structural welding thrown in, I have been a CWI for the last 18yr and now due to age restriction a saturation dive supervisor for sub sea completions company in Lafayette Louisiana, we build and repair in house equipment, i train and certify our personnel to AWS D1.1 & D3.6, API 1104 and ASME Section IX in house, our processes in house are SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and Tig both plate and pipe

Look forward to the forum and answering any questions that may arise concerning carrier decisions from the members concerning the oil field as a carrier

Welcome to the forum! I always have at lest one student who is interested in underwater welding. Relating any stories, etc. about job is greatly appreciated (at least by me!)

Thank you!
