Hey all! New here. Ive got about a year of playing around with tiggin. Mostly on stainless 316 as i work in a textile plant and most of the machines are dying machines.

What they do is that fabric runs in them via reels with mechanical seals because the machines are mostly under pressure. The heating source is steam. The main chemicals that run in these machines are Salt, Soda Ash, Costic Soda, Peroxide, Acetic Acid to name a few. Some of the machines are not under pressure.

Most of my welding experience comes from modifying these machines to fit.into our tight plant. Most of the machines are from the late 70's, so they have been used ALOT!! So ive cut alot pipe and rewelded them shorter to accomodate the different angles needed.

Ohh! BTW thanks to Jodis videos ive been able to get to this point and consider myself a descent tig welder!
