I'm a Mechanical Engineer by degree. My job does not require me to be hands on but I love to build stuff in the garage once I get home. I got to learn a little mig welding in school while working on projects. My previous job allowed me the opportunity to learn how to tig weld on stainless.

I recently picked up a Hobart 210 MVP with spool runner. I'm anxious to continue absorbing information and really progressing in my welding skill. I consider myself a novice and am starting ground-up with Jody's videos on YouTube.

Welcome to the site Jonny. Lots of people willing to help a guy out here if you ever need it. Oh,,,you don't have to go to you tube to find Jody's videos. Just go to the top of any page and there's a link to all his works.
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.
