Hi there,

My name is Adam, I am from the upstate of SC. As a maintenance technician and living on a farm, I have always "welded", well, stuck stuff together to get by. I came across WeldingTipsAndTricks.com while youtubing and I am looking to educate myself and trying to be a little better.

I just bought a Miller 180, trimmed the nozzle per Jody, and now I'm here to read and ask questions.

Welcome Adam! Working maintenance and living on a farm you pretty much have to learn to "glue" metal together huh?
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.

Welcome to the forums. This is definitely the right place for friendly folks and plentiful welding knowledge. The welding learned on farms is not taught in schools. Rusty, dirty metal and bad weather require a special kind of skill. You may be able to teach some of us a thing or two :D
