Hello all,

I recently came across this site and have found Jodie's videos very helpful. Thanks Jodie.

I'm a mechanic/fabricator working at an automotive restoration shop on LI. Had about 2 weeks of formal welding school 30+ years ago and have wished for a long time that I would have stayed in school long enough to complete that training.
Oh well, older and somewhat wiser now...

Currently constructing a "resto mod" 53 Maserati from the ground up. Interesting project that is definitely taxing my design/fab/welding skills. (They make it look so easy on TV  )

I have some specific welding questions that I'll post elsewhere on this forum.

Welcome, Glenn,

A '53 Maserati sounds like a great project. You'll find many auto enthusiasts here, as well as a broad range of experience to apply to frame work and thin sheet body work.

Welcome to the group, if you have any questions through out the project just put them out here and go from there. There is a lot of knowledge and skill on this page, don't be afraid to use it. :)
It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!
