Hello,
My name is Muhammad Sharjil, I am new to this forum as well as in this welding field. I have registered myself for Welding Inspection 3.0 course (CSWIP 3.0). I live in Pakistan. I want to know the basics of this welding.
Welcome to the community! Tell us about yourself, your welding interests, skills, specialties, equipment, etc.

Welcome, Muhammad,
I applaud you for wanting to understand welding along with your studies of welding inspection. It will make the theory easier to understand, and I invite you to learn to weld, yourself. If it interests you, you'll find it relaxing as a hobby. Getting good at it will help you understand what the flaws are in what you're inspecting.
I have had too many welding inspectors who learned it from a book, and never tried the process. These folks can tell you what's wrong, but not why. If the weldor doesn't know "why", he can't fix it or iprove his skills.

Scherjeal,
If it was myself and I was looking to be a welding inspector, I would check around with the local industry and see what's the predominant process being used in your area and start with learning that. I would think that most of your work would stem from the most used process, it's just logical.
I would think that in these times of automation that this would be GMAW or FCAW, but in your country it might well still be SMAW, as I'm not firmiliar with industry in your part of the world.
One nice thing is, like my grandfather used to say, "They can take away everything you have, but nothing that you've learned", so learn as many processes that you can.
Ask questions here, watch videos, find somebody in your area and watch them.
Just Len please, no Mr. needed

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Another thing you can do is visit your local libraries, and check out textbooks on welding theory.
The main areas are OFW (oxy-fuel welding "gas welding"), SMAW (shielded metal arc welding "stick welding"), FCAW (flux-cored arc welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding "mig welding", and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding "tig welding").
