Hit-&-Miss Engine hobby. Youtube taught, so far, on what little MIG, TIG and Stick that I have been able to do. Found this forum through youtube WeldingTipsandTricks video. Great help, thanks. Welding items such as engine frames/carts, cast iron repairs, etc. Hit and Miss Tom

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

Welcome aboard. There's actually a big show every year not far from me with old tractors and hit and miss engines.
It's called the Threshers Reunion. It's in Denton, NC.

Welcome, Tom,

Let's hope any answers we give aren't "hit and miss"...

But no promises.

One of my favorite day-trips for years was to go to the antique equipment show, with steam tractors, hit-and-miss engines, and all the things that developed around them.

My favorite is still the wringer washer with the "kick-starter".
