Hey all :) my name is Elaine and I want to learn welding. I took a welding 101 in high school and did a great job.
This Fall 2014 school year I plan on to pursue welding more seriously because I later learned I enjoy it and I am confident I can do more. I joined this forum to Learn, get advice, and grow as a person :)

What recommendation does everyone has for a strait up Newbie that wants to get into welding?

Any help would be greatly appreciate

Thank you in advance :D

Welcome to the forum. I'm a newbee too. What welding process are you looking to get into?

Welcome...
Feel free to ask all you want...
Good luck,

Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

Where abouts are you in colorado? I use to live there and could tell you where you could take some classes.

metalgirl21,
Welcome to the forum! My recommendation to you is practice, learn, repeat (not necessarily in that order either).
Don't be ashamed or embarrassed to ask questions, we all asked them at one time or another.
