hello, finally signed up on the forum, watched nearly all the videos on youtube and it defiantly helped a lot learning and perfecting technique. fairly new to welding, i finished trade school for welding in summer of 2012, worked in a fab shop manufacturing fire sprinkler pipes running a cnc plasma/welder welding outlets using metalcore wire(fabCOR86r) and flux-core 2nd passes. now im going back to college to finish my degree in welding/metallurgy to find a better job in this career field and make more money. my end goal is to design/fabricate/build trophy trucks and race cars. but in the mean time i want to work in the oil and gas industry after i finish college. i have a lot of hobbies and projects that require welding and i want to learn as much as possible
