Hello all, short and sweet. Born in Texas, raised in Kentucky, working in the most amazing place I have ever worked at, ever, in Indianapolis, Indiana, they build rockets, seriously. Aries 5, it's on youtube. The reason I am there is partially because of Jody, thank you much Mr. Collier, I look forward to my newsletter. Oh yeah, Short and sweet, sorry, they use these machines, miller pipeworx, (sp?), which can be set to do A LOT. Anyway, I would really love to see more FCAW welding, and Inconel, mainly TIG, which I know isn't your everyday material. Especially the flux though. I was also introduced to using 3/32 wire several months ago. It penetrates up to 1/4", totally amazing. I'd never run flux uphill until this past September, but I remembered Jody talking about clean welds, and I not only passed the vert, and horizontal visual, but my first ever Xray! Then, on to TIG, passed both of them as well and because I watched Jody on the website. I bought the big package, tig fingers, videos, etc. With all you have to think about, heat should not be one, that dad gum tig finger is the stuff! Already got guys wantin to borry mine. Anyway, I love learning, and have from here, thank you again, seriously. I'm a road warrior, and like I said, work in this amazing place where they have MAJOR tools. I have worked over 800 feet underground, and 400 feet above, seen some really cool stuff, but this place is full of some really great, and damn good people, oh, and they weld out of this world. Thank you, and I hope I can learn more from the forums as well, sorry yall, didn't mean to be so wordy.

Welcome cat_fan sounds like you found an interesting job. Do you do mainly support structure or work on the Aries itself?
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.
