I am new to TIG, but not too new to welding. I got my first TIG for Christmas and am very pleased with my choice. Got an Everlast Powertig 185 (may step up to a more featured unit down the road). I hobby weld and build small projects for stuff around the house and for my friends. I like to work with metal more than wood. I built most the stuff on my first 4x4. A 1977 Chevrolet K5. Bumpers, skid plates, tire carrier, wracks, tons of other mods and stuff.

Looking forward to learning and building.

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum Glenn ;)
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

Thanks, found the forum after finding Jody's videos. I picked up a couple of tig fingers, and ordered a CK Flexloc torch after watching and listening to his usage and it's abilities.

Hoping to up my welding skills and build all manor or neat stuff.

Thanks
Glenn

Welcome to the site Glenn. There's a few folks around here that like to get grease under their fingernails. ;)
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.
