Well my names Mike i am 21 i went to welding school im a certified pipe welder. However i'm no longer in school so i just go up there and mess around and help out some of the newer guys in the class show them what i know for about 6 hours a day monday-thursday. I'm currently Working on TIG my main goal is to become a Combo welder. i have worked a few jobs. a few shutdowns and i have worked for a local company doing chill water systems. I have also done a little copper soldering for HVAC. I have done alot of carbon pipe Stick welding but i am not very good on TIG pipe. figured i would sign up on here and lurk see if i can find any good TIG pipe tips. i also do a little blacksmithing mostly just as a hobby tho. I can MIG and fluxcore aswell

Welcome, Mike,

You sound pretty well-rounded for your age.

You'll find all kinds here, from "I plugged it in; Now what?" to "What alloy should I choose for..."

It's a neighborhood, with folk treating each other like they were next-door.

I'm glad its a forum where we have all walks not just the "bad ass welders" lol. I tend to be very helpful on subjects i know what I"m talking about.
