G'day from a new Aussie member living in Queensland.
I have joined finally after looking at a lot of videos on you tube from Tips and Tricks, very well put together IMO.
I have been welding on and off since the early 70's but it is always a new learning curve when haven't done any
for a while.
I started out welding with oxy when I was 15yo and went to College for stick/arc but did not finish.
I was an apprentice electrician working for an elevator company in Sydney then
changed to a plumbing apprenticeship.
Since then went on to Mig and now getting into tig and aluminum welding.
My interest now lies in fabricating small off-road camping trailer vans no-frills
just practical and tough with minimal setup. Looking to hire them out as
an income and keep me busy once retiring from the plumbing game and to work from home, also the
enjoyment of testing my own builds in our great outdoors life.
I believe that you can learn something new everyday.
Weld away.
Thanks Ray.

Hello Ray and welcome from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, USA. As were on the flip side of the winter/summer thing I just winterized my camper and filled the plumbing with non-toxic RV antifreeze a few days ago.
That won't keep me from loading a canoe or two on the truck and going out during the winter though. It only take about 10 minutes to winterize it.
Hopefully the fire season doesn't affect you too much.
Keep us posted on what you're making, please.
Best regards to all.
