The Corona virus has given me the opportunity to have time to join this forum. Hopefully everyone is staying safe and healthy! I learned how to weld in high school. Learning to weld has benefited me in every job I have had. I have never welded "professionally" as in a welding shop. But used the welding skill to supplement my work in various industries. Presently I am retired and use the welding equipment primarly to maintain my vintage race car. I also have a Bridgeport mill , a large lathe, and a number of other tools that I use constantly to maintain the race car. I am currently working on a stainless steel muffler. I am looking forward to looking through the member post

Welcome not far from you, also at home... ;)

What type of vintage race car? I have an '46 Chevy Pickup I will need to do some minor work on, but it's not in too bad of shape.
