Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area. My name is Duane. I will be lurking for quite awhile reading stickies and such. Currently interested in Mig and Tig. For me with all things new, seat time and failure are the best teachers. I find that forums are great supplements in learning from those who have mastered their craft and also those who are new as well.

By the way after welding a stainless steel flange prior to sanding to rid of the high and low spots, what paint can I use. I’ve seen videos of guys using paint on the sanded side to check the progress of sanding off the high spots
