Hey everyone,

I'm a longtime subscriber of Jody's Youtube channel as well as the weldingtipsandtrickspodcast. I'm a part time blacksmith and have tinkered with welding for many years. Life has finally turned in a way that allows me the opportunity to improve my welding skillset--which I am pursuing in earnest. Unfortunately, it is on my own and via the university of the internet as I cannot work formal community college classes into my schedule...yet...

I generally forge at the anvil, but also enjoy creating metal art and fabricating my own tools, etc.

Typically I weld with a Lincoln 140HD and am using my Everlast 160STH to learn DC tig, mostly on carbon steel, but intending to learn to weld stainless. I am hoping to add an ACDC tig machine in 2020 and start working on Aluminum.

I'm typically a forum lurker as I search and browse for information rather than asking the same old questions.
