Just saying hello. I just inherited an old thermalarc 250 that I'm setting up in my garage. I haven't ever mig welded and the last time I stick welded was probably 20 years ago so I'm here to learn the basics. Looking forward to learning how to mig and it looks like this forum has a lot of useful information.

Hello jw and welcome aboard. There is a LOT of information in the forums. As you scan down the list you will find one for MIG welding where you will find lots of information that will help you get acquainted with your machine and I'm sure you will also find someone who has a machine like yours. Relax and ask away.
