Not exactly from around the corner but the we do live on the same globe if that would count for something....
I was close to signing in here last winter but as I only just had started my studies in welding and fabrication I realised i didnt have too much to say nor any sensible questions for that matter. You sit in front of youtube watching everything you can find on TIG welding and mistakenly think you understand something (at that point close to everything) about welding until you take the torch in your hand for the first time and realise that welding like pretty much everything ele you do with your hands is one of those learning by doing kind of things..... Lesson learned... Anyway 8 months of studying done so far and I dare say I might have a vague understanding of what the art of welding is supposed to be. One thing I'm certain of is that it takes shit loads of practice followed by more practice.... The good thing is that I'm happy to say that I'm addicted to welding!!! Welding
is absolutely brilliant stuff!!! Anyways, here I am and it probably goes without saying that this forum will be of immense help to me with all of its collective knowledge brought together and shared by all of you guys. Hopefully some day in the future I can be helping out someone in need by giving welding tips and tricks I've learned from you guys. Thank you in advance for everything the future has to give in good or bad.

Cheers guys!!!
