thanks for having me. Used to be proficient with a Tig oh...about 35 years ago in high school. Haven't touched one in that long so I thought what the heck, why not buy one to play with :roll: .

Mechanic by default, still waiting to wake up one day and know what I want to do with the rest of my life. At the moment it's too cool and rainy to ride my Triumph and no snow so grooming trails is out. Spent quite a bit of time here lately perusing in the background. I have a lot to learn from looking around. There are some very accomplished weldors here, I bow to you.

Welcome to the forum, must suck having to put your bike away, plenty of time to practice welding, we're just coming out of our winter so my bike about to come out of hibernation.

Naah, it's OK, the summer was way too hot to ride anyway. I'm ready for winter and grooming snowmobile trails personally.

Thank you sir, Vermonter here. I like North Carolina except the summer months. Have a hard time with heat and humidity. Happiest day to me is the first time I can throw a sweatshirt on in the fall.
