oltage sensing wire feeder is flux core only and will work with any stick welding power source. Widely compadible, works with any brand. Just connects right into your stick welders leads with no special connections needed to power the wire feeder. There is an amphenol connector that goes to the back end of your gun, but is just 2 connections for a simple switch to activate the wire feed drive rolls. Can run any size wire you want, originally comes from the factory setup to run very heavy duty structural welding around .068 to 5/64ths or.072 wire I think. I have a full 14 pound roll of lincoln innershield nr-233 im willing to sell as well.

So the Lincoln manual says the wire feed mechanism is not adjustable meaning this unit is basically just for running nr-232 and nr-233 only. Fortunately I have found an easy way around this. So this model the Ln-22 is quite old now and parts are hard to come by, but the Lincoln Ln-23 is basically just an updated version of these machines and shares many of the same parts which are readily available because its still in producton. Turns out the wire feed mechanism is identical and you can order any kind of drive roll you need for the type of wire you want to run. I have ordered a .035 knurled drive roll and confirmed this. But as i learned when going to install this part, no purchase is even necessary because there is a thin spacer in the middle of the roll that can be removed and it will run .035 flawlessly. I presume .030 and .040 may work too but i have not tested this yet.

The final component to sort out is the gun which is not included. The machine is compadible with a limited number of Lincoln guns to my knowledge. The k-264 is 250 amp and k-361 is 350 amp and these are quite expensive and hard to find used sometimes. Fortunately i have managed to get a $40 gun i purchased on amazon to connect to the wire feeder with a simple adapter i fashioned from a piece of small metal tube that simply slips over the guns connection and increases its diamater so it fits snugly into the brass block of the feeder. I have run several small rolls of nr-211 with this setup and i must say im extremely pleased with its performance. One of these machines is my primary welding machine and i will be keeping one for myself due to its performance.

Now these are older machines and when i acquired them they were a bit worn out so I have taken the time to inspect these machines from top to bottom and service any components that needed attention. After servicing all 5 machines the only thing this entailed was replacing some worn out ellectrical wiring, a through cleaning, particularly inside the wire feed mechanism which was repacked with grease, and fixing a bit of damage to outer casings and framework. The gears inside the wire feeder were in remarkably good shape, see attached photos. Everything has been reassembled and tested and is in perfect working order. These are great little machines and are just remarkably durable and reliable. Pickup is available in the Sacramento area 95826, they cost about $100 to ship which i will charge as a flat shipping fee. My asking price is 400 per machine which i think is fair considering they wont need servicing for quite some time. I am open to offers/tradesName: 20210829_182955.jpg
