I don't think you'll get a lot of hits here for that, but if you do want to increase your chances, take the time to price everything out, and then set a package price for the whole thing. The first question you'll get is "what is the lowest price you will take for item XYZ??"

Did you mean to type "3/32" instead of "3/16"?

Haha, well although we may lose a good deal, hopefully he's considering keeping his setup to dive into the art of TIG welding. I hope that he does find a way to continue, even if I have to stack up another check for a new cooler :)

Too bad you're so far, I'm hesitant to do a deal when you're on the opposite site of the country. How would you ship to California?

Let me think about it overnight and see how I feel tomorrow, maybe I'll call you.

I just sent you a PM here on WTAT.

He's not gonna check his PM's, lol. Send him a text or call. I text'd some questions yesterday to him, and he was quick to respond that he doesn't want to ship and wants someone local to him to go pick everything up, lol. But I supposed if you wanted to take everything off his hands he would be willing to ship, possibly.

Yeah, I texted him and he sent pics. I haven't talked to him yet. He has quite a bit of stuff, and I would probably only do a deal with PayPal to be covered. I bought a '46 Chevy Pickup in Missouri like that about a year and a half ago.

He did call me back, but it seems he has a buyer for the welder and consumables for what sounds like more than I would pay, and he doesn't have the original boxes to ship the welder in either, so I really feel he's best to sell it locally. He might have some of the mags and the helmet, but no welder is a deal breaker for me as I am primarily wanting another welder.

Oh ok, then better off looking else where. I don't know if you do social media, but perhaps you can convince someone on facebook/Instragram who wants the Invertig 400 that you can take their 221 off their hands. Win-Win. :)

Actually I was an early adopter of FaceBook, but have weened myself off of it and this June will be 2 years since I've posted anything to FB. It taught me a great deal about social networking with colleagues as well as family, mostly for the worse. I despise it nowadays.

I do use Instagram, even though owned by FB, and the fact that the phone software is crap, I use it in my browser aside from the postings I do. FB phone software is crap also, and I know a person that manged the project for several years. I consider their lack of ability to change orientation to be a failure in phone software akin to programming 101 on phones. I have done phone work, but mostly on Android, despite me using an iPhone. ;) (I work mostly on Linux)

I also have a couple YouTube accounts, one for my shop/home building I'm doing in Lake County, and the primary one I've used for my hobbies. I don't like to spend too much time editing videos, so use Instagram more and typically only post short videos.

That said, I know FB marketplace is used by a lot of people, just not me, nor any of the forums.

If you hear of anyone doing an upgrade and selling a 221, let me know. I also wouldn't be adverse to buying a Dynasty 210DX.

The buyer i thought i had did not work out. Everything still available except chop saw. I would prefer to sell locally and would be concerned about shipping. Please text me and i will respond as quickly as possible. I will try to be better at checking these posts. If you text, i will send better pics

I agree Winky, had you kept the original boxes it would be less concern, but without them you should definitely sell locally.

Would you want to sell all the Furick cups & magnetic ground clamp? I would pay the shipping and make a fair offer

I would like to sell it all together. If that doesn't happen, I may just hold on to the welder. New hobby im getting into might be beneficial to have the welder. Not really enough to justify keeping it says the wife. We will see. Thank you for your interest.
