Jody,
All of the TIG practice I have done up till now has been 11 gauge steel or thinner, or aluminum. Seems like all your TIG videos are similar (either aluminum or thin steel only). I would love to see a video that explains how to TIG thicker steel, and/or TIG welding situations where a 1/8th inch filler rod (or larger) is appropriate. Or even when larger tungstens are appropriate or situations where more than say 150 amps are needed for steel welding.
There was a guy over on welding web a few years back that put together a trailer hitch extension using all TIG. it turned out beautifully, but I can't get even close to what he did. Every time I try to translate my TIG welding to larger plate, I run into troubles. I would love a video that explains how to do a project on a similar scale.
Thanks.
