Having your first post accepted quickly.

Since the onslaught of spammers has required this "first post approval", I'd like to offer the following suggestion, so your first post gets noticed and accepted...
Take advantage of the "Introduction" forum. Start a topic, even if you only say, "Hello."
Starting a topic will get you noticed as soon as a moderator or administrator signs on.
If your first post is a "reply" to someone else's topic, it will be buried, and it will be a minute before we find you.
Just say hello, and it's easier for all of us.
