Hey y'all. My wife got a new vaccum cleaner this week and I took it upon myself to claim the old one to use as a fume extractor in the garage. I'm pretty sure it has a hepa filter in it, and it has the hose that I'm sure I could make stay where I want it to. I'm pretty excited to try it out with my next job.

This got me to wondering if y'all have fume extraction solutions in your own shops.

I fell into an AirFlow Systems MiniVac extractor/filter unit at work, when we bought a new building and it was left behind by some prior tenant. Otherwise, couldn't justify the expense as an amateur, hobbyist welder.

I've seen a couple of people talk about them, and remember one of Jody's videos talking about down-draft table fume extraction.

Not gonna lie to you im running a 36 inch Dayton barrel fan and two normal box fans to pull the smoke out of my shop its simple and crude but works just fine. :D
