Hey guys, looking at new press brakes it time to replace our 65 ton press hoping to get atleast 180 ton with 10ft between frame, what brands do you guys like or use? Any other brands looking.
Amada
Bystronic
Trumpf
Accu-press
Cincinnati
General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.
I used to work for a tight tolerance sheet metal fabrication shop and the two most widely used brands in that shop were Amadas and Cincinatties. The operators always fought over the Amadas. I am not a brake operator so that is the only info I can give you.
Good Luck

Kinda what I am seeing with the press brakes mainly, I like how the tooling holders can be moved around to make taller pans with out having to use the c frame sides or really really long tooling.
Also like the fact bystronic and amada both have angel detection systmes.
