I have the Miller bobcat 250 efi. Not exotic or anything but functional with our WI. winters lately. Start it up and let it purr while getting set up, no playing with a choke

Ranger 305d.
And an Invertec v-350pro, that works.
And an Powermig 350mp.
And a Millermatic 252.
And a Thermal-Arc 181.
I think I'm missing a few, but those are the important ones...

Well maybe so, but it welds nice enough to be a dream machine
Other welding machines look at it with envy and awe

@dave,
mbmalone was trying to figure out how to block the sunlight from the back of his helmet, if he buys that other welder like yours, he can just mash the pedal and it will draw enough juice from the grid that the sun will go dim, problem solved.

Braehill - that's how I cool it off around here in the summer - works like a dimmer switch
That -40 weather we had this winter - that was me

Maybe that polar vortex was from all the power plants spinning backwards while you're welding.

Haha!
Yeah, me and the kids are unimpressed by those - we jokingly call them "the polar vortex of doom" to make fun of the news people.

For welding aluminum, an older Miller Aircrafter 330 ST with a Bernard cooler. For all positions, all day, every day. Nice and quiet, AC welding with authority.

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer to keep things simple.

@WerkSpace,
How would one get anything done with that setting in the corner of the shop?

How do you like the thermal arc 181? I've got the tweco 181i that I got for free and I love it!

2004 miller pipe pro 304 with Kubota She will run for 2 12 hour days on 8 gallons. Never leave idle un tell you wild over 175 amps or need 110 power. it will weld at idle. I know all you pipe guys think if it ant Lincoln it cant stack on pipe but these machines are smooth as an old short hood down hill. I also do a lot of aluminum on site and its the perfect direct connect for a miller 30 air cooled spool gun with a wc 24 control. Also I can take my foot petal off my schnowave shop tig and used it to tig ss or carbon steel off the back of truck with foot heat control.
My light never go off when I can make my own 3 phase power.
