Welding Tips and Tricks

I've posted on the FB variation of welding tips and tricks. Bret Williams was really helpful with trouble shooting this. I figured that I might post up here as well. I bought this used late last year. Used it only once to make sure it worked. I didn't realize back then that the HF start was having issues, because after touching off on the work piece it will do HF start.

There doesn't seem to be much documentation on this fairly prevalent issue. I can't even find a site that sells replacement HF boards or even find a referenced part #. I'd like to fix my welder and post a decent how to for this issue. Hopefully Brett will drop in again.

I'm going to open the case up tomorrow and start identifying parts.
