Frankly, I like the TIGFingerXL.

It's closer to my idea of a glove with the material incorporated.

It lets me prop my last two fingers on the metal, and rest the next one on top of the lot, or my two middle fingers with pinky on top, for a more secure prop on (for example) 4" ells in the mirror.

I'd think the mini- would be a great idea, as I can't count the number of times the tip of my pinky was my only prop on a weld.

I think a full thermal glove would be sweet with a soft leather thumb.
