Hello All,
I have my buzz boxes, but my dad showed up with a big ol' 250nt. The stick leads came with it, but I want to utilize the MIG and TIG features. I cannot find a good answer on what I need to get to CORRECTLY run those systems. I'm not talking about torch, gun and gas... I know about that. What I want to know is if those will plug and play or are there controllers, adapters, etc to make them work. Thanks for any help you can give.
General welding questions that dont fit in TIG, MIG, Stick, or Certification etc.

Pretty sure it's "plug and play", just as TIG vs Stick on a Synchrowave. In my experience, most miller stuff is plug-and-play. I don't know if the machine will do HFAC, so that might be one add-on module, for aluminum. I'd have to look the particular machine up. I may have time later tonight. Perhaps tomorrow.

Here's the manual for that machine:

Sections 5 and 13 should answer your questions about MIG attachments.
I notice the manual does NOT mention use for TIG, though I would assume it'll do scratch-start just fine, but with a Stick-weld open-circuit voltage. That should mean an HF adapter box with remote switch provision would permit HFAC without scratch start. I'd look into the HF adapters, though, if you want full remote current control.

BTW, since this is the "feedback" link for the forum admins, I hope you don't mind me moving this topic over to "shop talk".
