I am recently retired and have decided to make small stainless and carbon steel art projects in my backyard shop.

Over the years I have purchased and currently own:
Miller XMT 304 cc/cv with Miller RFC-14 foot control remote
Miller SuitCase® 12RC (w/Bernard Mig Gun)
Miller Optima 304 Mig Pulse Pendant Control
Miller Spectrum Plus Plasma Cutter
As you see I have been a Miller advocate since day one, however my wallet (wife), will not allow me to spring for their new product line prices.
I think I have my pulse tig choices narrowed to two options:
(1)HTP Invertig 221 220 Amp Inverter AC DC TIG Welder
(2)2013 MODEL Everlast PowerTig 250EX 250A AC DC TIG ARC STICK PULSE WELDER
I would prefer pulse tig in AC and DC modes; up & down slope
Kindly do not respond if you are a Manufacturer Rep.
I would like experienced user/welder responses only

Thanks

hey,

I think the HTP is a higher end welder, one our members has one... The everlast is the mid range machine, but ive heard here and seen on Jodys vids that it is a stellar unit. So i think you will be happy with either.

Here is a link to the member with the HTP
