I'll have to try to get some photos here....
I used that borescope camera you recommended today. I used air pressure to push it 5' up a 1.5" sch. 10 pipe, past two 180* bends, to the place I detected a leak (w/ helium leak detection in an evacuated space). I discovered a previous repair weld that was NOT properly backpurged, and sugaring is evident in the entire root.
The downside is that I have no way of tracking the orientation or location of the camera, so my boss is digging for some "confidential" information regarding the layout of the piping, so I know where to cut into the outer vessel to access the leak.
That camera is hard to beat for $20 US.
