What is the best electrodes for aluminium?

Depends on the aluminum.

There's the common ones like 4043 and 5356 which are good for most things, then there's the newer 4943 which is also excellent but it really depends on the aluminum.

Also, electrode would be an incorrect way of saying it as it would indicate the arc is jumping from it as that is what an electrode is. Aluminum can't be stick welded or at least isn't commonly done and for electrodes in TIG, Pure tungsten, zirconiated as well as the E3 merry go round electrodes all work well with aluminum on AC settings.

Otherwise for MIG you would need a shielding gas like you would for TIG and would buy the wire either in 4043, 5356, etc. depending on the weld.

An acquaintance of mine regularly stick welds aluminum for repairs out in the field where MIG nor TIG are adequate.
