Welding Tips and Tricks

Hey guys bit of a noob question here. I was using a cutting wheel to grind clean a hole I just drilled. I gashed the metal a little bit and I was wondering if I ran a bead down it would it be alright? The part is a piece of angle iron that is being used on some stairs.

Yep, pad it up and dress it off again. I do it all the time.

Yeah, no worries. Might have to redrill it, use a grinding wheel this time.
