Anyone used this?

I'm a plumber and my local supplier had a tin of similar putty marketed as this new invention. Anyway, I put it straight back on the shelf when he said it was $290 ..... WTF

Some searching shows similar products far cheaper like the one I linked. I usually use a gel when silver brazing near soft soldered joints. Kinda works ok but don't really trust it and its a bit messy. This stuff looks way better and I can think of uses for it outside of brazing copper, most notable of which is welding.
